Ignorance No Longer Bliss for SUV Buyers
I'm sure most of us who are looking to make an investment in an SUV take the proper time to explore our options, (yeah right). Unfortunately most of us don't way in on the little things that matter when it comes to owning an SUV. Those of us who already own them know better. I can't tell you how many times I've suffered, because of my oversized vehicle. The low bridges, narrow parking spaces, and the extra trips to the gas station can become a headache for anyone. However despite all these drawbacks If I had were going to purchase another car tomorrow it would be an SUV. I enjoy having the extra room, even though I hardly use it, I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. This might not be the case for you so I urge you to consider whether or not an SUV is really what you need.
First off, ask yourself Why an SUV? Is a car just not sufficient enough. Auto makers are trying to produce more fuel efficent SUV's, however I would advise you to do your homework on just how fuel efficient the newer models are. Recent studies show that MPG (miles per gallon) test taken 30yrs ago are not accurate for today's driving habits. Probably the best way to insure your fuel efficient SUV is fuel efficient is by investing in a hybrid. Hybrids are automobiles that combine fuel and electricity for power. In the past people associated hybrids with being small and more expensive, but these days automakers are producing hybrids for larger vehicles at affordable prices.
